Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, one of the best-known and wealthiest Reggae artists was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He starred in the cult classic film Shottas with another famous singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album With Father Like Son. This was followed by numerous singles including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap fit (remix), and Sensimelia. They all helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a rising reggae artist. Ky-Mani and Praswell, of the Fugees were joined in 1997 and recorded Avenue which was a cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley first appeared on stage in Miami in the Midem Theatre. Midem. Marley did a live performance in the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcast by the Caribbean News Agency across 36 nations. Marley came to be the target of a bidding war. In 1997, Marley signed a contract with Gee Street Records/V2 Records. They also finished the project in conjunction together
